City guide
Cadiz
Held to have been founded by the Phoenicians, this is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Western Europe. Built on a narrow peninsula reaching into the Atlantic, it lets the sea into its streets from three sides; the camera obscura in the Torre Tavira projects the whole old town onto a single table.
